2011 Whitetail Deer ARCHERY Season begins Oct 1st and ends Oct 28th

2011 RIFLE, Muzzleloader or Archery begins Oct 29th & ends Nov 15^th for non-residents.

Non-resident deer hunters have to be guided; however the guide does not physically stay with you all day.

A picture will be taken of you and your Trophy Whitetail Buck that you can take back with you, or a picture mailed to you after professional developing. We can also e-mail them to your friends & family back home for you.
These pictures may later be seen on our web-site and in our photo albums or advertising.
Export Permits to take home your Trophy Whitetail and your Venison are available on the way home, in nearby Rainy River.

FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION

You may bring hunting rifles or shotguns into Ontario for hunting or competition purposes if you are 18 years of age or older.
Plus 200 rounds of ammunition for hunting or 1,500 rounds for use at a recognized shooting competition.
Firearms must be registered for a fee of $25.00 CDN (for all your firearms).
Archery equipment may be brought across the border
at no charge. You do not have to register them, however, you do have to
mention that you are bringing them across.
All fully automatic weapons and handguns are prohibited.

is availablewhere you can view it and print it off, and have it

The Non-Resident Firearms Declaration (Form CAFC 909 EF), and its continuation sheet (Form CAFC 910 EF) must be presented in triplicate, unsigned, to a customs officer at your first point of entry into Canada.
