Native Pictographs: Rent a boat and go boating or purchase a lake tour from Harris Hill Resort to visit the ancient pictographs.
5,000 year-old rock pictographs made of berry juice and sap can be viewed by boat on various islands on
Lake of the Woods. Visitors are reminded that these paintings are sacred and must be respected. Do not physically touch the paintings and do not pull the boat directly onto a carving. An offering may be left – tobacco is preferred.

There is a nearby "One Room Schoolhouse" to tour, on Kreger Road & HWY 600 in Harris Hill

One of the last remaining Lighthouses around - approx 15 minutes away on Lighthouse Road off HWY 621; Town Fairs, etc. Ask us to see about making arrangements to view the Schoolhouse or the Lighthouse.

Naughty Pine Ranch is approx 20 minutes from here, and 20 minutes from Rainy River. Only 10 minutes from here, you can go to Bergland Cafe, and Peterson's grocery store, which also sells gasoline & cigarettes.

In Rainy River, only 20 minutes away, you can enjoy restaurants as well as shopping and attractions such as the Train Museum in Rainy River. There is also a liquor commission / beer store and a hotel, both on Hwy 11 in the town of Rainy River.

Celebrating Minnesota's Hockey Day. Teams will participate in pond hockey which will be broadcast on FSN throughout the day. Minnesota Wild and the Gophers will also be telecast on the same day. Food booths and a carnival will complete the event.
