Sturgeon Fishing in ZONE 5 of Lake of the Woods is closed from April 30th to June 30th. Sturgeon are readily found and seen on Lake of the Woods. What an exciting sight to see as these prehistoric looking bottom feeders take a "roll" on the surface of the waters. Sturgeon must be over 74.8" to keep.

There are no Master Award Angler Certificates available for this species.

A CITES Permit is necessary to export a Sturgeon out of Canada. They are available only at the Ministry of Natural Resourses offices.

Your arrival time for your cabin is 2 PM on the first day, and departure is 9 AM on your last day.
This includes your fully equipped Lakeview Cabin, completely housekeeping capable, with Satellite TV, Air Conditioning, fire pits, BBQ's, Coffee Maker, Microwave, Toaster, Bedding, Towels etc.

You will have a Deluxe 18’ Boat with a 40-50 hp 4-stroke motor, with depth finder/ fish locator, padded swivel seats, live wells, casting decks, life jackets/PDF's, safety equipment, landing net, docking etc.
You will have a tour of the property, and also a tour of Lake of the Woods up to Snake Island
You will be provided with a map of the area marked with “Fishing Hot Spots”
You may bring your GPS.
