Visitor Information for coming into Ontario Canada
Passport Requirements:
June 15, 2007: Washington, DC - Rep. Louise M. Slaughter (D-NY-28), Chairwoman of the House Rules Committee, announced that the House overwhelmingly voted to prohibit the implementation of Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) anytime before June 2009. That means that you will not need a passport for land and water travel to return to the USA until June 2009. CROSSING THE BORDER
U.S. citizens need to verify their U.S. citizenship (e.g. birth certificate or passport) and photo id is recommended such as a driver's license. Effective Jan 31, 2008 this is mandatory.
